                    I hope that the way I use colour and light in my pieces enables the viewer to experience something of the beauty we find in the everyday ‘gardens’ in our lives.

                    Although the work I produce are screen prints, they are not editions. Rather, they are unique pieces, building up many layers of print more akin to a painting than a traditional screen printing process. Whilst I have a good idea of how I am expecting a piece of work to develop, sometimes the process requires me to be flexible and allow the artwork to dictate the imagery needed. It is fairly common to find myself creating new screens halfway through a piece.
